Taking Raven to the Shed
January 4th 2008 08:53
We authors of these blogs, especially myself, often blog with the intent and hope of influencing the hearts and minds of others, to enliven, enlighten, entertain, amuse and even to vent our rancor in a positive constructive manner. When we cross over the line, we should find ourselves taken to task by our peers, audience and hopefully our conscience.
The rancor displayed in my blogs concerning the tactics of S.L. Bradish aren't meant to be personal. However, without the entire history accompanying the various blogs posted, it's easy to see it as a nasty, virulent attack against a hapless victim.
This possibility was beginning to nag at my conscience recently and confirmed to me by several friends and fellow bloggers; taken out of context, the underlying issues behind my recent posts are veiled and lost in the mists of Orble history to new readers.
I apologize for my loss of focus and actions; and will redress my attention in an appropriate fashion. Fortunately, I believe in the future if not always the immediate, the now; I've seen glimmers of inspiration and hope.
However, to make myself clear, I remain intolerant of the following:
- Wrapping the flag of the USA around hateful speech,
- Proffering inflammatory dialogs that can be the source of physical harm to others,
- Unsubstantiated robo (propagandizing) speak about any topic,
- Rigid intolerance of any opposing argument,
- Chronic propagation of misinformation, aka lying,
- Religious or class intolerance,
- Anyone I find annoyingly stupid.
Well, I am going back to my meditations.

Culturally speaking Australians come from Irish, British and Scotts that means we are the most repressed people on Earth.
So no hugging!

She's anything but a hapless victim, I can just picture her sitting on her front lawn with a big smile and shotgun in hand waiting for someone to step into her property.

D.Armenta you must be quite a visualizer, OMG, it rubs off.... now I'm grossed out!
I can truly understand your mindset Jim.
Thank you all for the visit, take some of the pink stuff to help settle your innards and rejoin the conga line...altogether now; boom boom, boom boom, bump, ah... and the march of life continues on.

Well...almost everyone....tee hee!!!
I too come from Irish, English, Scottish and WELSH (never forget the Welsh!) stock, all boiled down in the land of Oz, oh, and I found out recently, French and Mongolian blood too!!
I guess that makes me a mongrel Mongol?
I really like the Mongol part, which is probably why I also like sticking it to the scared little bigots that scuttle around the shadows in this virtual, yet real, fool's paradise!
Cheers Raven...and guess what, for ages I thought SL Bradish was a male! I don't think I have to comment further about that...

No need to apologise especially not for this:
